FBHCDA receives $500,000 grant to kick start business park
September 19, 2017, the Fitzgerald and Ben Hill County Development Authority received notice from the Georgia Department of Community Affairs of approval of a One Georgia equity grant in the amount of $500,000. The grant will aide in developing a business park to assist the Development Authority in recruiting additional value added Ag manufacturers, food processors, and metal fabricators. The development which already has interested parties is scheduled for construction to begin in the spring of 2018.
